The system is Microsoft Windows based.
The solution has two halves… The first being the operations/management tool (back at base) and the second being the smartphones carried by your fleet.
All client details are stored in the CRM unit and when a job comes in you can simply input the client number to call up their details. Information regarding the job is typed in and input of the delivery address is aided by a postcode recognition solution. On clicking “OK” the details are immediately stored and sent to the appropriately chosen member of the fleet out in the field wirelessly. We willinstall the necessary software on compliant smartphone carried by the drivers. They in turn can send back a progress report at various steps – for example “acknowledge”, “on route” and “completed”. When the job is completed a signature of proof of delivery is sent back to the server.
Once the signature is received, creation of the invoice is simply produced and the details of that job are safely stored digitally.
